First time riders, remember that, unless you have a bus pass, you will need exact change (bills or coins). The Flyer stops at numerous stops along Rt 1 and Rt 88 (marked with yellow-and-red signs) whenever someone wants to get on or off there, but only the stops named on the schedule are regular âtime points.â You will find the driver is happy to help you with estimating the time of your return bus or choosing the closest yellow-and-red stop to your destination. There are also some stops such as Maine Medical Center on Bucknam Rd. that are âon demand,â meaning the driver doesnât normally go there but will do so at a riderâs request. To be picked up at an âon demandâ stop, you may arrange with the driver on board, or phone Metro at 774-0351.
