Introduction of a zoning amendment limiting the first floor and gross area square footage for uses in the Route One Business District (SB1).
ACTION: Schedule Public Hearing
The Community Development Committee is introducing a limitation on the ground floor and gross area square footage for any one tenant or building occupant in the Route One Business District (SB1). The limitation proposed is 30,000 gross square footage of ground floor area and 60,000 total gross square footage for any one tenant or building occupant. Grocery retail would be limited to 60,000 gross square feet. Existing building tenant space could be occupied with no limitation based on the tenant size at the time of adoption of this ordinance.
