Introduction for a zoning amendment to exempt lots from increased nonconformities due to the acquisition of a portion of the lot for the purpose of resource protection.

ACTION: Council action is not anticipated.
The current ordinance requires that current nonconforming lots lose their nonconforming status if the lot is reconfigured.  This amendment would preserve the nonconforming status for purposes of the applicability under Section 5.31, Net Residential Area and Section 5.38, Buffers to Wetlands and Vernal Pools where the reconfiguration is due to the purchase of a portion of the lot for purposes of protection of natural resources.
