The Council will consider authorizing the Town Manager to enter into a purchase and sales agreement (P&S) for the Pleasant Hill Fire Station property.
ACTION: Council action is anticipated.
On December 13, 2010, the Council approved an order to authorize the Town Manager to commence the sale process for the Pleasant Hill Fire Station property for private re-use, using the single-date "Call For Offers" process. The Town contracted with CBRE The Boulos Company to assist with this effort.
The Boulos Company prepared the attached sales brochure, held two open houses and several private showings, and mailed letters to the property's abutters. The property was also advertised for 2+ months on the Town's website and The Forecaster devoted an article to the sales process - see: http://www.theforecaster.net/content/n-falphfirestation-012711.
The proposal deadline was April 7, 2011. The Council reviewed the proposals that were received at that time in executive session on May 9, 2011.
