Resolution recognizing the Falmouth Middle School Jazz Band “Iron Twinkies” as 2008 Region I Champions in the Maine State Jazz Festival.
Resolution recognizing the Theater Company at Falmouth High School for recent accomplishments (more detail will be provided prior to the meeting).
Public Forum
This is an opportunity for members of the public to address the Council on matters which are not part of the meeting agenda.
Order to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of May 27, 2008.
Order to approve the renewal of the parking agreement between the Town of Falmouth and the American Legion.
Order to certify the election results for the Municipal/Primary/State election on June 10, 2008.

Report from Council Committees and liaisons regarding updates on assignments.
Report from the Appointments Committee and order relative to filling various vacancies on Boards, Committees and Commissions. An order to appoint positions on Boards, Committees, and Commissions may include the appointment of three Charter Commission members in accordance with 30-A M.R.S.A. Section 2104.
Public Hearing and order relative for a new food service/victualer's license for "More Than Bagels Cafe, LLC" Route One.
Order to abate personal property taxes for US Bancorp Equip Finance.
Update on the new elementary school construction project and anticipated referendum schedule.
Discussion about the possibility of broadening retail use in the RB (Residential B) District, specifically in the Falmouth Corner area and order to authorize town staff to develop ordinance amendment language.
Discussion about how the current zoning ordinance regulates animal husbandry as an ancillary use to residential uses and order to authorize town staff to research practices in other communities and develop ordinance amendment language options to be considered by the Town Council at a later date.
Consideration to remove discussion of the Tidewater Mitigation Plan and Memorandum of Understanding from the table. The item was tabled on April 15, 2008.
Review proposed agenda and schedule for the August 1, 2008 Town Council Retreat.
Discussion about a proposed Council orientation session.
Resolution to encourage the merger of Metro and Regional Transportation Program.
