A permit is required for any individual, business or corporation who plans to engage in door-to-door commercial solicitation. Commercial solicitation means to offer goods, services or real property for sale or rent, or to provide information for the purpose of promoting the sale or rental of goods, services or real property provided it is not part of a fund raising effort for a nonprofit organization. It is unlawful to conduct door-to-door solicitation between the hours of 9:00p.m. and 8:00a.m. Permits are issued by the Town Clerk's Office and are good for a period of thirty
(30) days.
