Falmouth Conservation Corps
The Falmouth Conservation Corps is a volunteer group of people interested in hands-on involvement with our town’s open space initiative. FCC volunteers build trails, keep our rivers navigable, create educational materials, (print & video), control invasive species, conduct natural resource inventories and otherwise help manage our town-owned open space properties. Besides accomplishing important work, the FCC gets people out in areas of town they probably haven’t seen before and builds relationships among residents of all ages and backgrounds. Best of all, it’s fun!
How It Works
Sign up by downloading and completing Parts I & II of the volunteer application form (Part I applies to all town volunteer positions; Part II to the FCC).
Email the completed forms to firstname.lastname@example.org. Or return them to the Planning Office at Town Hall.
Your application will be confirmed, then notified of upcoming projects by email. If a particular project is of interest to you, sign up to participate in it by return email. If not, pass on it and wait for an opportunity that better fits your interests and/or schedule. If you do sign up, you will be notified of the time and location, what to bring and other details of the project.
We need people with a wide variety of interests and skills: birders, engineers, videographers, botanists, graphic artists, woodworkers, writers, trail builders, canoeists, photographers and much more.
Have questions? Send them to email@example.com.
Please include your phone number.
