In September 2011 the Town issued a Call for Offers for Redevelopment of the Plummer-Motz and Lunt Elementary School complex. Deadline for offers was November 29, 2011. The Town Council reviewed all proposals, made recommendations, held a Public Hearing, and on January 30, 2012 voted 7-0 to approve an Order to sell a portion of the property to OceanView at Falmouth. The Town and OceanView have until December 31, 2012 to close on this transaction.
