Teresa Pierce was elected to the Council in 2008. She is a native Coloradoan and a graduate of the University of Colorado with a BA in Political Science. She spent 15 years in the Boston area working for several non-profits focusing primarily on education. After moving to Falmouth, she became actively involved in the community as a member of the Falmouth Trails Committee, School Board Facilities Committee, Elementary School Building Project, former co-chair of the MECA Art Auction, and is the President of the Falmouth Educational Foundation.
Teresa is the Associate Director for Alumni Advancement at the University of New England. She is married to Sam Pierce and has two children, Meg and Spencer, who attend the Falmouth Public Schools.
